What Will You Do as a Programme Assistant?

As a Programme Assistant, you will support the Programme Director and project teams with planning, organizing, and managing key program activities. Your support helps ensure that health programs are delivered on time and well-coordinated.


Main Duties Include:

Programme Management Support (50%)

  • Track and update work plans, templates, and reports
  • Organize and archive documents like progress reports and reviews
  • Work with the M&E team to record project achievements
  • Help maintain the quality of training and project materials

Administrative Support (30%)

  • Schedule meetings and take meeting minutes
  • Keep leave calendars, travel schedules, and contact lists updated
  • Assist with organizing Abuja team reviews and check-ins
  • Support national health events (like NMEP and SMEP meetings)

Logistics Support (20%)

  • Arrange travel and accommodations for consultants or partners
  • Book venues and prepare materials for trainings and workshops
